While at the University of Akron, Britt was an Assistant Editor on Law Review and subsequently an Associate Editor on Law Review, was Treasurer of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law Association, awarded the Karam Award for Academic Excellence for the highest G.P.A. in the evening class 2003-2004, awarded the Professor Emeritus Albert S. Rakas Memorial Scholarship for each semester from 2005 to 2007, on the Dean’s List, and completed courses for an Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Akron. 

Britt was registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2005.  Britt received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, in Biology from the University of Tennessee in 1996.  He has worked at Eschweiler and Associates LLC as a summer clerk during law school and joined the team full time afterwards.  He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
